Srinivas Avasarala

Srinivas Avasarala is an Indian film director, screenwriter, dialogue writer and actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Srinivas holds a screenwriting diploma from University of California, Los Angeles and took acting classes for a year at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York City. He did theatre in New York and then worked as an assistant director for a film called ''Blind Ambition''. He also worked at the Universal Studios as a script screener.
Srinivas holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Finite Element Analysis and worked for Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.
He made his acting debut with the film ''Ashta Chamma'' for which he also write a few scenes. Since then, he has worked in Telugu films including ''Vara Prasad Potti Prasad'', ''Mugguru'' and ''Pilla Zamindar''. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu romantic-comedy, ''Oohalu Gusagusalade'', with Naga Shourya as the lead.
